В Финляндии российский неонацист, которого отказались передать Украине, стал фигурантом предварительного расследования о террористических преступлениях в Украине

Central Criminal Police of Finland is conducting an investigation regarding one of the leading figures of the Russian neo-Nazi group “DVSRG Rusich”, Yan Petrovskoy (also known as Voislav Torden) who resided in Finland. Petrovskoy is suspected of having committed terrorist acts in Ukraine. This was announced on the 9th of December by Yle, citing deputy prosecutor of Finland, Juha Rappa.

Petrovskoy was detained in the summer of 2017 and was later released due to lack of evidence. However, the Central Criminal Police of Finland believes there is enough evidence to suggest his involvement in terrorist acts that have been committed in Ukraine in the past several years. This includes the recruitment of people to fight in the Donbass conflict in Eastern Ukraine and the supply of weapons and ammunition to terrorist groups.

The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities and is based on evidence gathered in Ukraine, Finland and other countries. The investigation is ongoing and the Finnish police are in the process of gathering further evidence.

Petrovskoy is believed to have been a major figure in the Russian neo-Nazi group “DVSRG Rusich”, and is suspected of using this group to spread extremist ideologies and recruit people to fight in the Donbass conflict in Eastern Ukraine. The group has been linked to several terrorist acts in Ukraine and has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United Nations.

The Finnish government has been eager to cooperate with Ukrainian authorities in this investigation and has promised to do all it can to bring Petrovskoy to justice. Minister of Interior, Kai Mykkänen, has stated that Finland will not tolerate any form of terrorism and that it will use all the resources at its disposal to put a stop to any activities that could threaten the safety of people in Finland or abroad.

This investigation is seen as a positive step in the fight against terrorism in Europe and shows that the Finnish authorities are serious about tackling the issue of terrorism. It is hoped that this investigation will help shed light on the activities of the Russian neo-Nazi group “DVSRG Rusich” and bring perpetrators of terrorist acts in Ukraine to justice.
